Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where some devices were not displaying when they should in insights.

Features and enhancements

  • The Intelligent Insights page now displays a new Tags column. Tags are automatically added to insights to help you categorize, sort, and filter your insights. Insights can be tagged as Application, Hardware, Operating System, Network, and more. You can then view the relevant tags when viewing an individual insight.

  • We improved the readability and structure for the Possible Causes and User Experience Impact cards when viewing an individual insight.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where the device list was not always displaying correctly when viewing an insight.

  • We fixed an issue where sometimes impacted users and the devices displaying in the device list didn’t always match up correctly.

Features and enhancements

  • We now show historical insights that are up to 14 days old, and the created date of an insight is included in the Insights table.

  • We reorganized the Devices list when viewing an insight. It now displays the FQDN on the left-hand side and the GUID on the right-hand side.

  • We refactored the Recommendations & Remediations card to better recommend 1E Endpoint Troubleshooting instructions available in your 1E Platform instance.

  • The 1E Intelligence Administrator role has been added to the 1E Platform.

  • We added a new page to 1E Intelligence to provide visibility on how many devices the functionality has been enabled on. This requires having a 1E Intelligence Administrator role (or higher).

  • We removed the Cause column from the Insights table.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where PowerShell execution policies for the 1E Intelligence DEX Pack (Product Pack) would sometimes fail due to the device’s PowerShell Execution Policy setting.

  • We fixed an issue where viewing Management Groups impacted by an insight was not working correctly.

  • We fixed an issue where upgrading the 1E Intelligence DEX Pack (Product Pack) would sometimes fail to update the Intelligent Sentiment functionality as expected.

1E Intelligence Early Access release: July 31, 2024

This feature combines insights on potential problems with AI-driven sentiment analysis to help prioritize user issues effectively. Check it out for insights on user frustration levels and how it can enhance 1E's problem-solving approach.

Features and enhancements

  • We replaced the User Impact score with a new User Frustration score. Leveraging the Intelligent Sentiment capability, this provides visibility of how frustrating an Intelligent Insight may be for users. This includes the ability to view frustration level per insight and sort/filter by frustration level.

  • We improved the explanation when widgets in the app contain no data.

  • We now display in Intelligent Insights if an insight impacts Management Groups a user does not have access to or visibility over due to role-based access control (RBAC) settings.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where Microsoft Defender was erroneously flagging certain items in the 1E Intelligence Product Pack as suspicious.

  • We fixed an issue that would sometimes prevent performance data from being correctly sent to the 1E Intelligence infrastructure from the endpoint.

  • We fixed an issue where surveys relating to Intelligent Sentiment were not always displayed in expected situations.

Tech work

  • We renamed the Product Pack executables to more easily explain their purpose.

Features and enhancements

  • We updated the message that is displayed when someone deploys the Product Pack for the first time, but 1E Intelligence is not yet accessible, to highlight that the application is starting up and not in an error state.

  • We updated the link to the documentation to be a permalink.

  • We removed a redundant checkbox from the column selector on the Intelligent Insights page.

  • We fixed an issue preventing Intelligent Insights and Intelligent Sentiment from displaying in the interface.

  • We improved the discoverability of Impacted Management Group info when viewing insights.

  • We added a direct link to the 1E Intelligence release notes page in the left-hand navigation bar.

  • We improved the speed in which permission changes (for example, to allow users to access 1E Intelligence) were recognized by the app.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where the 1E Intelligence Viewer role was not correctly granting users access to 1E Intelligence.

Features and enhancements

  • Reinforced learning from human feedback: Users can now provide feedback directly on insights to help us improve our insight generation capabilities. This includes the following:
    • Responding thumbs up/down to an insight.
    • Providing free text feedback.
  • UX when opening 1E Intelligence: We improved the experience when users open 1E Intelligence from the module launcher. It now opens in the same browser tab instead of a new one.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where the eventforwarder.log file was producing multiple errors.
