Configuring multi-tenant

The 1E Core application now supports domain separation, especially for 1E Virtual Assistant.

This feature is only available in 1E Core 4.0.18 or later.

To enable this functionality, you have to set the value for system property x_1e_core_connect.multi_tenant_instance_va to true. Once you have updated this value to true, it now allows you to create new configuration records for different domains.

To view and configure the values of the system properties, follow the below steps:

  1. Login to your ServiceNow instance.

  2. To open System Properties table, type sys_properties.list in the filter navigator and press enter.

  3. The System Properties table opens up into a new page, and now look for the details of x_1e_core_connect.multi_tenant_instance_va property in the table as shown below.

  4. You can edit the value of the system property to True.

  5. Click Update to save the changes.
