Installation guide
SGC for 1E is a ServiceNow application that can be installed from ServiceNow App Store. This section provides you details on how to install and upgrade SGC for 1E.
Install the plugin
Before installing the SGC for 1E application, you need to first install the Service Graph Connector Dependencies on your ServiceNow instance. Follow the steps below:
- In your ServiceNow instance, navigate to the Application manager using System Definitions > Plugins.
- Search for the plugin Service Graph Connector Dependencies or sn_sg_dependencies (plugin ID) from the available list on the ServiceNow instance.
- Click the plugin and it will satisfy all the functional and license dependencies required for SGC.
Installing SGC for 1E
The following instructions show you how to get the SGC for 1E from the ServiceNow app store and install it on your device.

Browse to the ServiceNow App store.

Click the Log In button at the top-right of the ServiceNow Store page to log in.

The Log In pop-up will prompt you to enter your credentials. Enter the details you provided when setting up your ServiceNow support account.
You can also reset your password and raise a support ticket from this page.

Search for Service Graph Connector for 1E from the list of available apps on ServiceNow store.

Select Service Graph Connector for 1E from the application lists and click the Get button to install the application.
The SGC for 1E app will now install automatically on your ServiceNow instance. The ServiceNow instance details are already available in ServiceNow because they are part of your TPP credentials.
Upgrading SGC for 1E
If you have an older version of the SGC for 1E application installed on your ServiceNow instance, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version.

You can upgrade your application from either of the below:
- My Company Applications
- Plugins/All Available Applications
Using My Company Applications
Follow the steps below to upgrade your application:

In ServiceNow, navigate to My Company Applications. This opens up an Application Manager page as shown in the picture below.

Click the Installed tab on Application Manager page to see the list of installed applications.

Select SGC for 1E from the list, choosing the latest version from the dropdown and click Update.

You now have the latest version of SGC for 1E available.
Using Plugins/All Available Applications
Follow the steps below to upgrade your SGC for 1E application:
- In your ServiceNow instance, navigate to the Application manager page. Using either of the below:
- System Definitions > Plugins > Application Manager or
- System Applications > All Available Applications > All
- Search for 1E applications using the search field.
- Click the Installed tab on Application Manager page to see the list of installed applications.
- Select SGC for 1E from the list, choose the latest version from the dropdown and click Update.
