Upgrading 1E

This article outlines the steps for successfully upgrading 1E Platform.

• Upgrading 1E needs 1 hour of downtime to complete. You will then need to deploy the 24.5 version of the 1E Client. Refer to Deploying the 1E Client for more details.

• After migrating from 23.11 to 24.1 and later, non system consumers (For example, Content Distribution, Dashboards or Experience Analytics) are marked as system consumers. Consumers were installed separately in on-premises deployments, this is not true for cloud instances.
