Introducing Content Distribution

Content Distribution removes the need for distributed servers and intelligently uses only available bandwidth for all content distribution. This means the business is never impacted by Configuration Manager or Windows deployments.

New features in Content Distribution

Many Content Distribution features are available with minimal configuration of the 1E Client. However, some features require additional configuration of the 1E Client on Configuration Manager Distribution Points.

Platform

  • Bandwidth Protection: With the rapid shift to a Work From Anywhere (WFA) workforce and an increased focus on the digital End-user experience, Content Distribution on 1E Platform now provides insights into how it helps to ensure a great user experience. With the introduction of Nomad Bandwidth Protection Reporting, you can now see how Content Distribution is preventing end-user disruption due to software and update deployments. Bandwidth Protection Reporting will allow you to see the positive impact Content Distribution is having across the organization, to individual sites, subnets, all the way down to a single client.

  • Set Nomad as Download Program: Cloud-based services to support Work From Anywhere (WFA) users are becoming more critical to the way enterprises work, there is an increased reliance on Cloud Distribution Points for distributing content.

  • Feature improvements: As Configuration Manager evolves and new features are released, Content Distribution on 1E Platform is being continuously maintained to ensure it works seamlessly with new releases.
