The 1E Toolkit

The latest release of the Platform does not require all downloadable components to be updated. Refer to the Release notes for what is new, and what is compatible. You can download tools for the 1E Platform and the 1E Client from the TeamViewer DEX Support.

What's included in 1E Toolkit, and how to install it, the kit includes:

  • 1E Toolkit: Run Instruction (command-line tool)

  • 1EConfigMgr UI Extensions: Only installed if the installer detects the Configuration Manager console on the local device

We have deprecated Tachyon.RunInstruction.exe

The Authentication Proxy requirement has been removed from the 1E Toolkit, which now works as is, and can be directly accessed using the 1E Platform URL.

You can also use the 1E PowerShell Toolkit to run instructions in addition to Endpoint Troubleshooting.

The 1E Toolkit v9.1 has been modified to remove its dependency on 1E Authentication Proxy and no longer supports it. As a result, if you are using a version of 1E Toolkit dependent on Authentication Proxy, you will not be able to upgrade to v9.1. You will need to uninstall your installed version of 1E Toolkit and install 1E Toolkit v9.1 where you can point to the 1E Platform URL instead of Authentication proxy URL.
