Admin self-service portal for Data Access

We are pleased to announce an improvement to Data Access, the admin self‑service portal, now available in the Enterprise Plus tier. This new capability gives administrators governed control over which team members can access curated datasets, helping unlock faster and more flexible insights. Refer to Data Access.

With Data Access, organizations can securely connect analytic tools, such as Power BI and Tableau, to Platform datasets that cover digital‑experience metrics, application performance, patch compliance, content distribution, device inventory, and endpoint diagnostics.

Key benefits:

  • Instant control: Administrators can enable or disable Data Access in just a few clicks, removing delays that often come with manual requests.

  • Secure token management: Create access tokens with flexible expiry dates, revoke them immediately if needed, and ensure all usage is logged for compliance.

  • Data visibility: Monitor data refresh timestamps to give teams confidence they are working with the most up-to-date information.

  • Strong governance: All actions are tracked, giving organizations assurance around compliance, auditing, and security standards.

By giving administrators direct control over enabling Data Access and access management, teams can obtain the data they need from within the Settings application. This enables faster, more confident decision‑making, the freedom to build custom reports and KPIs beyond the built‑in dashboards, and the flexibility to integrate Platform data with ITSM, HR, and finance systems.
