Identity Provider (IdP) certificate renewal

With this feature, 1E Platform administrators can now manage their IdP certificates directly within the 1E Platform interface. This enhancement improves the user experience when rotating IdP certificates, ensuring uninterrupted access to the 1E Platform.

To ensure trusted communication between the 1E Platform and the IdP, 1E provides a certificate when a tenant is provisioned. This certificate has an expiry date and is automatically renewed by 1E. To maintain user access to the 1E Platform, the new certificate must be added to the IdP. Before activation, the 1E Platform will validate that authentication works with the new certificate.

Other updates

We have continued making improvements to Endpoint Troubleshooting in the updated UI, introducing the following updates:

• Run instructions from Global Search and edit coverage: You can now run instructions directly from Global Search. Once an instruction is selected, you'll be taken to a full-screen instruction configuration page where you can access various options, including editing the coverage. Future iterations will allow you to initiate this process from other areas within the platform.

  

• Intelligent Insight automatic analysis of correlating information: Insights now automatically analyze correlating device and management group information. This update improves insight titles, problem analysis, and recommendations by highlighting key factors found during the analysis.

• Completed status for Intelligent Insights: You can now mark Intelligent Insights as complete and archive them as a separate action.

• New device drawer: We've introduced a new device drawer that displays fundamental device information without needing to open the full device pillar. Users can navigate to the device pillar, or take actions like run instructions or connect using our TeamViewer Tensor integration.
