Automate and optimize: Reclaim Through Instructions
We are excited to introduce the Reclaim Through Instructions feature, designed to streamline the software reclamation process. This feature allows administrators to take direct action in reclaiming software on Windows and macOS endpoints, providing greater flexibility and control over software assets. This feature allows organizations to optimize resource utilization and achieve cost-effectiveness.
Key highlights:
-
Direct action for Software Reclamation: The Run an Instruction feature empowers administrators to reclaim software by executing specific actions on target devices. This approach allows for tailored software management, ensuring that resources are used efficiently.
-
User-friendly interaction and comprehensive reporting: The feature includes intuitive pop-up options for optional uninstalls, enabling end users to decide whether to retain the software or, remove it now or later. Additionally, robust reporting capabilities are provided to effectively track and manage reclamation activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Device-level intelligent insights and summaries
Device-level intelligent insights and summaries are only available if you have 1E Intelligence enabled in your account. For more information, please review 1E Intelligence or contact your Account Team.
Device-level insights provides technicians with enhanced visibility into potential issues detected on individual devices. This includes insights into device responsiveness, application hangs, and operating system issues. Additionally, it offers visibility into other devices potentially impacted by the same issue, helping technicians understand when an incident may be part of a broader problem. This feature is designed to assist technicians in solving multiple issues efficiently while working on a device.
Benefits of device-level intelligent insights include:
-
Quicker problem resolution: By transforming raw performance data into actionable, real-time insights with specific recommendations, this feature enables technicians quickly pinpoint and address specific issues on devices, significantly reducing the time you spend on diagnosing and remediating problems.
-
Proactive maintenance: The feature supports proactive device health management by identifying issues early, helping maintain performance and reduce downtime.
-
Broader problem awareness: It provides visibility into whether a device's issue is part of a larger problem affecting multiple devices. This helps technicians efficiently address broader issues and potentially solving multiple problems simultaneously.
Device-level intelligent summaries provide the following benefits:
-
Improved situational awareness: Technicians can get up to speed faster, improving their ability to correctly diagnose and remediate device issues quickly, and effectively.
-
More proactive remediation: Device-level intelligent summaries improve technician awareness of the holistic state of a device, empowering them to proactively resolve multiple problems to enhance end-user experience and productivity.
